The Jackson Five

With “I Want You Back,” among the greatest debut hit singles of all time, Michael, Jermaine, Jackie, Marlon and Tito launched into the stratosphere. The Jackson 5 became a phenomenon, reeling off hit after hit—“ABC,” “The Love You Save,” “I’ll Be There,” “Never Can Say Goodbye,” “Corner Of The Sky,” “Dancing Machine” and on and on—inspiring Jacksonmania, television specials and a loyal legion of fans. Lead singer Michael was just 11 years old when the J5 exploded; the rest of the guys were barely teenagers themselves. But they were schooled in classic moves and sound, and they were the complete package whose talent was undeniable. The Jackson 5 were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
