It's amazing that a movie with nearly no dialogue (well, not of the human variety, anyway) could speak to so many people. Pixar's Wall-E is as much a technical masterstroke as it is an emotional tour de force, about an adorable garbage-compacting robot who develops a serious crush. Few films balance humor, sentiment, and a cautionary message to such effect.
